Gorboushina Irina Leonidovna

Gorboushina Irina Leonidovna was born in Kaliningrad, Russia.

In 2005 she completed the full piano course at the Belorussian State Academy of Music (BSAM) from which graduated with honors. In 2006 she continued studying piano at BSAM and got her master’s degree in the same year. In 2008 she enrolled for the course of practical study of piano at BSAM by Prof. Yushkevich L.P. In 2013 finished postgraduate study in the State Academic Institution, Belorussian Culture, Language and Literature Research Centre of the Belarus National Academy of Sciences, her thesis advisor was Tatsiana Mdivani, Prof. Dr. Ph. Irina is writing her work “The Interpretation of piano music in the modern Belorussian concert performance”.

Irina Gorboushina has taught piano lessons at the Children’s School of Music #12 in Minsk, Belorus, also worked as an accompanist at the woodwind department (flute) and at the department of strings of BSAM, at the vocal department of the College of Music after Glinka and at the scenic speech and vocal department of the Belorussian State Academy of Arts. At present she is an accompanist of the choir of The State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Belorus in Minsk.

Irina Gorboushina is a full-time the junior researcher in the State Academic Institution, Belorussian Culture, Language and Literature Research Centre of the Belarus National Academy of Sciences. Mainly focusing on the problems of concert performance interpretation in the field of piano music. Member of the Belarusian union of musical figures, Societies of the theory of music (Russia), Gesellschaft fur Musikforschung (Germany).
